The preferred method of installing the desktop software - League Manager, Tournament Manager, or Handicap System - is log into your account at GolfSoftware.com and download. That way you will be assured of installing the correct version for your golf group. The download steps are slightly different depending on the browser you use (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.). We will cover the aforementioned three browsers. Your steps in short:
- Log in to your GolfSoftware.com account
- Download your software
- Install your software
- Register your software
Log in to your GolfSoftware.com account
When you purchased your software, you were provided with a customer number and a password. You would have received this information by email. You will need these two items to log in to your account. If you cannot find these, please call or email help@GolfSoftware.com.
- Go to GolfSoftware.com
- Click on the yellow "Administrators" button at top right of web page
- Enter your customer number in the top box (it will be a 4 or 5 digit number - no letters)
- Enter your password in the bottom box
- Hit the Enter key or click "Sign in" button
- Click on the "Desktop Software" tab
You will now be in your account and it will look something like this:
You will see the desktop software program(s) for which you have a license when you click on the "Desktop Software" tab. You see three programs in the sample picture below:
Highlight and copy the registration code while you are in your account. Copy is Ctrl-C on your keyboard (hold Ctrl key and press the "C" key). You will not see anything "happen" when you copy; the registration code is placed - behind the scenes - in your computer's memory temporarily. You will later "paste" your registration code to register your software.
