We have heard of many customers who are running older
versions of our products successfully on Window Vista. However only our
2007 and later versions were written to support this platform. We
provide support for our 2007 version or later when you are running the
Windows Vista operating system. If you choose to run older version on
the Vista platform we cannot guarantee correct installations or data
integrity.
We have had customers that received a "runtime error 70....permission denied". Below are the steps to correct this error.
Go
into Vista's user accounts. For your user name for the security
settings you will need to uncheck UAC (user account control).
Please see Microsoft's "Make older programs run in this version of Windows."
